Day 6 - December 10, 2006: Birmingham

We're heading over to Birmingham today to catch See Ming's favourite band The Beautiful South perform in the NIA.

English breakfast at Pratt's Motel was really good. Even See Ming had some toast.
We had time for a short walk around Bath before we had to get on the train. The first thing we found out was that we were sleeping next door to the former home of one of my favourite writers.
We'd been warned there wasn't a whole lot to see in Birmingham. We took a few pictures anyway.
There was a German Christmas festival in town though. Everyone in England says "Happy Christmas."
There were some fireworks and flower boats at the river.
At the concert. The starting act was a band called "Badly Drawn Boy."
The crowd went crazy when The Beautiful South finally appeared on stage. A rumour was going around that this was going to be their last tour and that they would call it quits after almost two decades together. (This rumour proved to be true the following month).
