Time to check out and leave this city. |
| Before leaving Auckland, we stopped by Mt Eden village, where See Ming prompted got distracted by some shopping. |
When we got to Mt Eden garden, it was raining heavily. Luckily, they had a very comfortable cafe, so we stopped for an early lunch. |
| Very soon, the rain stopped. Time for a stroll around the garden. |

After the gardens, we took the long drive to the Coromandel Peninsula. |
| A tired little boy. The last part of of the drive was on a winding coastal road, but because we started late, we were mostly driving in the dark. |
| Finally, we arrived at Rapaura. We had a little wooden cottage all to ourselves. |
There was a BBQ grill right outside our door, so we cooked ourselves some steak and some lamb that we bought in Thames. |
