Hobao Hyper 10 Electric
|
This was my first car after a long time off from the hobby. It has since been sold off. |
| The chassis is double deck FRP. The drivetrain isn't the most free-spinning one in the world. The chassis can accomodate saddle pack or stick pack batteries, but using saddle packs would mean you have very little space left for electronics. |

Hobao also made a nitro-powered version of the Hyper 10 and some of the parts are probably shared between these two cars, which would explain why so much of the car is overbuilt. The diff cups are made of steel, the belts are twice as wide as they need to be and the suspension upper links are 4mm threaded steel rods. |
