Me and my wife share these two trucks. Great for visits to the beach.

Homemade receiver box (name card holder) and servo brace plate.
One way to get rid of some steering slop is to replace the cross bar with balls and cups. This requires extensive Dremelling of the upper front bulkhead.
The other way is to get the GPM graphite steering plate from Rcmart.com. It doesn't show on the RCMart picture, but it actually comes with the 2 brass bushings shown here. I strongly recommend this cheap upgrade.
The Team Losi upgrade oil shocks instructions says to use 1 seal on the shock cap but almost everybody uses 2 to try and stop the shocks from leaking.
Also, I push the shock shaft almost all the way in when screwing in the cap so that there isn't too much oil inside (another cause of leaking).
This RoadTech servo saver turned out to be useless for Hitec servos as there are no proper shoes for it. Tried to fit it using the Sanwa shoe and stripped it. I've since gone back to using a direct servo horn linkage without any problems. That 85MG is one tough servo but it requires some chassis dremelling and cutting off the servo ears to fit.
3Racing SSG hingepin brace plate. Not strictly necessary but so nice to look at.
