Kyosho Salute

Kyosho Salute - my favourite car of all time. Got it from overseas but never had any problems with finding parts because nothing ever broke.

The chassis.

Some of the original screws have been lost and replaced.

Ball studs have been replaced by captured balls and screws throughout the chassis.

Here it is with some HPI truck wheels and Proline 2.2" Dirt Hawg II truck tires. I didn't try to actually run it with these big wheels because I worry about the belt. Oh yeah, the original car runs a chain, but I've converted it to run belts.

I've narrowed the front bumper a little to fit under touring car bodies.
